Small, poorly designed spout

I’ve officially been able to use my Nina teapot for a few days and as much as I love the modern look and design, it’s unfortunate that the spout does not come out any further. Anytime I pour tea, it spills due to the spout and tea dribbles down the front of the spout when I place the teapot down. I compensated the size for a modern look, but having to wipe down surface area and the pot after ever pour is frustrating.
